The 2009 AAG in Vegas brought many rewards, including the EJHR 2009 newsletter (found here), the announcement of our paper competition winner (Sara Koopman), and a fantastic plenary by Dr. Elvin K. Wyly.  We look forward to seeing you all next year!

EJHR is going online with a new website (ejhr.org), which will be used for dissemination of information regarding new awards, specialty groups, and other details relevant to the EJHR specialty group.  "Pardon our Progress" while we sort out any bugs that might pop up!

Competition Updates

Paper Competition

The EJHR Student Paper Competition Committee would like to congratulate Sara Koopman (UBC) for winning this year's award with her paper, "Alter-Geopolitics: Another Geopolitics is Possible".  Sara will receive a $200 award to support her ongoing research.

Many thanks to the Committee for their hard work in coordinating this competition.
